From FM104 in Dublin, to 96.4 The Wave in Swansea, our local radio brands are distinguished by their connections with their local communities.
Signal Radio Station Director:
Signal Radio is one of the largest and most successful local radio stations in the UK. Serving Staffordshire and South Cheshire with 4 radio brands, Signal 1, Signal 2, Signal 80 and Total Access, we are the commercial market leaders in the area.
Operating from our newly refurbished studio based in Stoke on Trent, we’re looking for an established Station Director to join the team. This is a unique opportunity and we are looking for an exceptional candidate with previous MD experience.
The successful candidate will lead from the front and create a positive culture of success across all of the business, growing and developing your managers and people, acting as an ambassador for the brand and contributing to a winning strategy for Wireless as a whole.
What we’re looking for from you:
You will have an understanding and passion for radio and knowledge of the wider media industry; proven experience of leading and managing teams and talent towards a clear vision, and be able to inspire your people to realise their goals. You will be up for the challenge and responsibility of leading the largest local radio station inside Wireless UK to achieve its ambitions.
