Wireless Group operates 23 radio stations in the UK and Ireland including talkSPORT and Virgin Radio as well and a number of digital radio multiplexes.

This entry-level role represents a unique opportunity for a graduate with a passion for broadcasting to launch their media career. Whilst previous full-time employment is not essential, some relevant experience is desirable, such as a work placement in broadcast or digital media or involvement in student media.

As Strategy and Development Officer you will be expected to contribute to the long-term strategic development of Wireless Group by working on new product developments, supporting senior colleagues, engaging with internal and external stakeholders and generating new ideas. The role will also entail performing specific operational tasks to a high level of quality and accuracy, with scope for career development over time.

The successful applicant will benefit from exposure to the breadth of Wireless Group’s radio businesses in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland, as well as parent company News UK’s digital and publishing businesses. Specific training and learning opportunities will also be available.

If you have a mature and professional approach, are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, have excellent organisation abilities, are able to multi-task and have strong literacy and numeracy skills, then this could be role for you.
