This is an office based role here at Star Radio in Cambridge.

You will be responsible for generating new business appointments for the sales team as well as selling a range of radio and digital products. It’s essential you are confident, articulate and numerate to enable you to professionally communicate with clients.

A telesales sales background is essential to the role as is knowledge of sales processes. You will be working in a small team so self-motivated, creative and solution focused applicants will thrive in our business.

The market we operate in is very competitive so you must be determined to succeed in the most challenging of situations.

Successful executives will have the opportunity to earn fantastic levels of commission, in one of the busiest markets outside of London.

Manage personal time effectively Deliver exceptional level of customer service Have an in-depth knowledge of clients’ business to deliver client focussed business advertising and marketing solutions Ensure knowledge of product portfolio, including airtime, sponsorship and promotions, and on-line products is up to date and extensive Lead generation, database management and use of CRM system High level of communication and reporting to line manager Sales and forecasting accuracy Achievement of financial and activity targets Ensure all deadlines are met Effective liaison with appropriate parties, i.e. other media consultants, support staff, other departments within the radio station and clients Practice UKRD’s Culture and Core Values in every aspect of the role
