INRIX is recruiting for 3 Part Time Traffic Information Operators. The successful candidatess will be collating traffic incident data for North America, and will based in the INRIX Incident Group (IIG) in Quinton, Birmingham, UK.
Using the latest data capture technologies, internet based research and traffic cameras, you must possess excellent keyboard skills, have great attention to detail and be confident whilst using your own initiative in this fast-paced environment.
We will provide you with full training and a great environment to work in! Teamwork and flexibility is a must in this role and your communication skills will be tested when working within a team dedicated to capturing live traffic information (24 hours a day, 365 days a year) which will then be used in real-time by some of the largest and most well-known organisations and companies in the world.
Role specifics
Part Time Fixed Hours
Saturday and Sunday 10pm – 6am IIG517 16 hours per week Monday to Thursday Friday 6pm – 10pm 2pm – 10pm IIG239 24 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am – 1pm IIG796 20 hours per week

Candidate Specifics
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a media, higher education, professional or office environment
- Strong computer literacy and understanding of social media
- Interest in traffic news
- Proficient map reading skills
- Ability to multi task utilising audio, camera and data feeds to provide the highest standard service possible to our Automotive clients
- Close attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- You are able to meet strict deadlines and thrive in a high pressure ‘newsroom’ environment.
Those shortlisted for interview will be required to display their technical and cartographic capabilities in a short practical exercise.
