Zone 1 Radio is the local radio station for Central London - the most culturally diverse and dynamic place to work, live and study on the planet.

We broadcast on Digital DAB Radio in the capital.and we’re the home of Russell Brand’s Recovery Radio. The community is at the heart of our unique programming.

We are looking for Volunteer Producers and Production Assistants to work on the broad range of high-quality specialist programmes that we broadcast in the evenings and at weekends.

The roles include research, arranging interviews, promoting content on social media, conducting interviews, editing audio and images, writing copy and most importantly working as team to produce high quality programmes.

You would need to have interests in one or more of our specialist programmes areas. You will need good IT skills. Some media experience would be beneficial.

We’re currently based in Battersea, but will be moving into purpose-built studios in the City of Westminster in the autumn.
