At the 2025 NAB Show, Kokusai Denki Electric Inc. will likely see a steady flow of industry individuals eager to learn more about their line of broadcast cameras. Not familiar with the company? You probably are, as it is taking on a new name.

Kokusai Denki is the former Hitachi Kokusai Electric, which rebrands after 25 years in the U.S. marketplace. The name change follows the transfer of majority ownership of Hitachi Kokusai Electric’s broadcast and production business from Hitachi Ltd. to Nisshinbo Holdings, Inc., reflecting a return to the company’s original name.

At the NAB Show, Kokusai Denki will be in the North Hall (N528) of the Las Vegas Convention Center, with a continued focus will be on broadcast and production camera systems, featuring the latest 4K/UHD TV production cameras, multi-format HDTV cameras, and multi-purpose box cameras.

Additionally, KOKUSAI DENKI Electric will demonstrate its ST-2110 camera workflow, which enables SDI cameras to integrate into IP networks.

The company will also host its new sister company, “Linear Denki,” at its NAB Show booth. Based in Brazil, Linear Denki specializes in locally manufactured transmission equipment for terrestrial Digital TV and FM radio. At NAB Show 2025, Linear Denki will showcase its DTV+ (TV3.0) MIMO transmitter alongside its advanced FM Radio transmitters.

KOKUSAI DENKI Electric’s global operational structure remains unchanged, with Sean Moran continuing to lead the Americas division, Hirofumi Suzuki overseeing the Europe division (EMEA region), and Hwang Soo Min heading the Asia division (APAC region). Representatives from both the Europe and APAC divisions will be present at the NAB booth.
