It's been to every continent on the world, but hasn't got any stamps in its passport.

Show Prep, the PA and production service for radio, is celebrating a milestone: after less than three years, the service is now used in every continent across the world.

The brainchild of international radio consultant Francis Currie and presenter/editor Paul Ellery, the service was launched in summer 2013 as a response to increased workload for radio presenters and information overload.

Show Prep is written every morning between 2.00am and 5.00am, and is designed to deliver fresh, topical and targeted content to UK-based and ex-pat broadcasters. Current subscribers include individuals, radio stations, and groups.

The service is built to save presenters and producers time on dull research, and gives them more time to be creative. They suggest that it's cheaper, quicker and has more topics than going through a pile of newspapers; and easier than surfing through a pile of websites.

Francis Currie, formerly launch PD at Magic 105.4 and Group PD of Heart, said in a release: “This takes Show Prep further than we ever imagined. It now reaches all over the world!”

Show Prep is used by some of the biggest show in the business, said Francis - and some of the smallest ones, too.
