UKRD’s Production team recognised at the 2016 Vox Awards

UKRD’s Senior Imaging Producer Adam Venton has won the ‘Best use of music’ award at the 2016 Vox Awards.

Announcing the news in a company-wide email Colin McGinness, UKRD’s Group Production Manager confirmed that the award was ‘hugely deserved and had recognised the high class production Adam produces for UKRD owned radio stations’.

Adam who had been at Glastonbury when he learnt he’d won the ‘Best use of Music’ award said “I am really pleased, particularly given the high standard of work in the category and the calibre of the judging panel”.

“I am delighted for Adam” said Dave Coull UKRD’s Group Content Director. “Adam’s commitment to his craft and relentless pursuit of production perfection is hugely impressive and I am thrilled, like I know his colleagues across company will be, that his work has been recognised at the 2016 Vox Awards” Coull added.

The VOX Awards which have been honouring voiceovers and creatives since 1999 took place in Manchester on the 25th June.
