VOX is back for 2016 – shout it from the rooftops! The UK’s only conference for professional voiceover artists, agents, creatives, producers and the audio industry will feature a day of talks and seminars, followed by an evening reception and the Awards ceremony. It’s a great opportunity to meet, greet, learn and socialise and usually attracts 150-200 attendees.

The event will be held on 25 June 2016, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Manchester Airport. There's more information at

VOX organisers, Posy Brewer and Stevie Cripps, are delighted to announce some key changes to the structure of the event. In former times, the VOX award winners have been chosen by public vote. This year, however, the UK’s premier voice & audio industry awards will be judged by a panel of industry specialists, giving the awards even more credibility and the artists the recognition they deserve.

Nominations can be made through the website – visit for more information.

That’s not the only change for the better. The list of categories, previously limited to radio, will now be more wide-ranging to celebrate both the Television and Radio sectors, online videos and commercials, as well as including awards for use of music and comedy. There will also be a public vote for Best Producer of the Year.

VOX 2016 will be held in Manchester for the first time, in recognition of the city’s prominence as a media hub. After this year, VOX will be going on a road trip, with future events planned for other cities and London already penciled in for VOX 2017.

VOX 2016 promises to be not just a celebration of voice talent but also a fantastic opportunity for learning and development. As well as networking, round tables, and access to the best in the voiceover and audio business, there’ll also be a range of seminars and talks from some of the world's top professionals and industry specialists.

The day’s events wind up with a red carpet reception, evening entertainment and the award ceremony. There are a number of sponsorship opportunities available, offering businesses the chance to promote themselves and increase brand awareness, reaching out to a specific market and connecting with a key audience.
