Made TV has an exciting new position for a candidate that is passionate about developing commercially driven programming for TV.

Our output is information that entertains and entertainment that informs. Daily we cover local updates like traffic & travel, what’s on guides and weather forecasts as well as items on property, motors and food & drink. Our mission is to reflect what is positive and inspirational in our cities and reflect the hard work and the pride and pleasure that enlightens the lives of the vast majority of citizens.

As a Commercial Content Producer, you will work as part of the Commercial and AFP team to create content for our output. You will be expected to research, film and edit content alongside overseeing daily producer’s tasks for any given commercial & AFP project or series for Made Television while thinking creatively and developing original ideas for programmes of every kind.

We are looking for someone who is able to develop ideas, produce budgets and manage a production team. You will also be able to edit content quickly and efficiently and be responsible for the smooth running of any production including staff. Knowledge of the compliance involved with producing advertiser funded programming is key.

We are looking for candidates with a media degree or demonstrable experience of your ability to conceive, shoot and edit content to a proficient level. It is important that you have the ability to self-shoot on various camera formats, with the ability to edit using Premiere Pro. Knowledge of other Adobe Creative Cloud programs is an advantage.

You must be organised and be able to manage projects varying in budget and have a proven ability to produce creative ideas from a concept to final product with the experience of managing a production team. We need someone who is comfortable in a client facing environment and can also deputise for the Head of department.

The role is based in Leeds and will involve travel to other Made TV sites depending on the production. You will need to travel to the Liverpool office at least once a week.

Salary is dependent upon experience.
