Location: London Start Date: August / September 2018 Contract Length: Initially 3 Months (Potential for a Lengthy Extension)

A busy London-based television production company are looking for a Development AP to join the team. You will predominantly be developing new documentary and factual entertainment ideas for the main UK broadcasters.

Reporting to the Head of Development, this is a full 360 development role. You will be required to generate new ideas, contribute to brainstorms, write treatments and conduct thorough research. You will also do work gaining access, casting and producing taster tapes.

This is an opportunity for a creative and ambitious Assistant Producer who thrives off development, with at least 6 months experience working within a development team under their belt. You will have previously developed documentary and factual entertainment ideas for the main UK broadcasters, and will have good journalistic sensibilities, alongside an interest in music and popular culture. It would be beneficial if you could self-shoot but this isn’t essential.
