Location: London Start Date: October / November 2017 Contract Length: 6 Months – Potential for a Lengthy Extension

A high-profile television production company are looking for a Development Producer. You will be playing an integral role within a small team, developing a wide-range of prime-time factual programmes for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 – ranging from documentaries and current affairs to formats and features.

You will constantly be generating ideas, gaining access and conducting thorough research. The role will also involve writing a large proportion of the treatments and at times directly pitching to commissioning editors. There may also be the opportunity to produce taster tapes.

This is a role for somebody who is passionate about developing ideas across the factual genres. You must have spent at least three years in development and have proven experience being involved in successful commissions. Ideally you will have held a ‘Development Producer’ title for at least a year, however the production company would also consider very Senior APs with thorough development experience.
