A new but already busy production company are looking for an Editor to work across an ambitious talent-fronted adventure series for the BBC, international broadcasters and various online platforms. You will be cutting for the long-form television series and for the additional short-form online films.

Although predominantly working from Brighton, you will spend three weeks on location in Europe, where you’ll be cutting short-form footage to a quick turnaround. For this, you will sometimes be cutting alongside the Commissioning Editor, and so must be able to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure.

The production company are looking for someone with several years’ experience editing both UK broadcast television programmes and online content – ideally in the areas of adventure, survival or travel. Ideally you will have held a similar role where the long-form and short-form tie in to each other, as well as talent-fronted, however this is not a necessity should your other experience fit.
