Africa’s media landscape is changing. It is one of the fastest developing news markets in the world with mobile technology transforming lives, internet connectivity increasing, a relatively strong radio market and television migrating from analogue to digital.

As part of the one of the biggest broadcasters in the world, BBC Afrique broadcasts on radio and TV to Africa and online on from London and Dakar, Senegal. The multi-media output is varied with a strong emphasis on regional and international news and current affairs.

Are you a creative and versatile journalist, with a strong understanding of what makes good digital video and how video is consumed on digital platforms? We're looking for a journalist who is a passionate evangelist for digital video storytelling. You’ll have eye for a good story and the ability to tell the digital stories in French. All candidates will be expected to demonstrate a clear understanding of digital platforms as well as video editing skills.
