The BBCs Marketing and Audiences (M&A) team help to shape products, commissioning strategies and editorial propositions informed by audience insight. These are communicated to our audiences through compelling brand strategies, campaigns and audience engagement.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at BBC News for a Marketing Manager, who is passionate about news, current affairs and politics especially on digital, mobile and social platforms. This role has specific responsibility for BBC current affairs and politics content across TV, radio, online and social. Audiences are at the heart of everything we do at the BBC, and ensuring that this remains so is the role of our M&A teams.

The Marketing team, working with BBC Audiences, brings the outside in via research and insight and this forms the basis of our brand strategies, campaigns and audience engagement.

This role is responsible for day to day management and implementation of the BBC News brand and marketing strategy and creative execution of the strategy in line with highest standards of creativity, digital and social media.

This is a Continuing position. Grade 9 - proposed Band D.
