About the Organisation
SBW Logo 10 Years Rebrand-Colour CMYKWe set up in Bristol in 2004, and since then, we’ve established ourselves as one of the leading integrated advertising and marketing agencies in the South West – and with our new office in Cardiff, we’re hoping to do the same in Wales too. How have we achieved that? Well it’s partly through hard work but largely because we have such a fantastic team of people who are dedicated to doing a great job. Always. Take a look at our website www.sbwadvertising.co.uk to get a feel for some of the work we do.
At SBW Advertising we are looking for a professional, friendly and proactive apprentice to join our growing account management (agency-side) team here in Cardiff.
Become an apprentice at SBW Advertising and you will join an experienced and talented account handling team – who with your help will service and deliver all our clients’ advertising needs. In return you’ll get a taste of the fast-paced and exciting world of advertising and build up an understanding of online and offline media in the process.
Day-to-day your role will involve answering telephone calls in a professional and helpful manner, filing, administration, desk research and some of the more fun creative stuff. You’ll also play an active and integral role in our social media output, creating and posting exciting and engaging content to our followers. Shadowing some of our Account Executives you will also get involved with other important jobs and processes like proof reading and although not part of the creative team, you’ll be encouraged to take part in brainstorms and see how a brief is constructed, how this is briefed in and if the chance arises, how we’d present this to the client. There is nothing more exciting and rewarding than seeing something you have worked on being shown in all its glory on a billboard, in the newspaper, on social media, the radio or even on the TV!
