Since its launch in 2004 Islam Channel has developed into a platform for ingenious and practical television complementing the definition of good programming.

Broadcast in English, Islam Channel aims for it’s programming to appeal to both Muslims and non-Muslims. Ultimately conveying Islam in its true form to curious non-Muslims and to further educate Muslims.

Position Description: 


Islam Channel is seeking a motion graphics designer to work across multiple platforms for broadcast and TV commercials. You will be based within our busy post-production department working closely with our production staff on a variety of projects to design channel IDs and motion design content for tv programmes. There is emphasis on the replacement of old graphics packages and other visual elements within existing TV programmes and TV commercials. You will need to deliver high quality results under high-pressure deadlines, and pay close attention to detail combined with a strong working knowledge of design-related applications is essential.

The Requirements:

1. A thorough understanding of After Effects and industry standard plug-ins
  1. A thorough knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Adobe CC collections, including Photoshop and Illustrator
    1. 3D experience, particularly in Cinema 4D
    2. A good grasp of post-production processes and services for broadcast media
    3. A good working knowledge of Mac OSX, PC and digital workflows
    4. A strong ability to work to specification and tight deadlines
  2. 3+ years experience working as a motion graphics designer preferably in a broadcasting environment
    1. Candidates must be dedicated, punctual and have a strong work ethic
