An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced television journalist to join the award-winning news team at UTV Live in Belfast. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in original journalism and possess a sound knowledge of broadcast regulation, media law and local politics. Along with being an excellent storyteller and writer, you will have the ability to self-shoot and self-edit. The successful candidate will have strong editorial judgement and will be a first class communicator who can deliver excellent results on-air and online. You will be comfortable reporting LIVE from location and will have the skills to explain complex stories in a way that is easy to digest. You will see the power of digital content and will be a self-starter when it comes to offering content across the day for our digital social accounts.
