Location: Brighton + International Filming Contract: Monday 2nd October-Friday 24th November 2017 (8 Weeks), then Monday 29th January-Friday 20th April 2018 (12 Weeks)

A new but already busy production company are looking for a Series Producer/Director (self-shooting) to work on an ambitious talent-fronted adventure series for the BBC and international broadcasters. You will be overseeing the 3 x 30’ and 2 x 50’ broadcast programmes as well the additional short-form films for various online platforms.

You will prepping and setting up shoots from the UK before going on location (one week in the UK and three weeks abroad). As well as producing, directing and managing the shoots on the ground you will be self-shooting most of the footage, although you will have access to a specialist Camera Operator for certain shoots. You will then go into the edit in Brighton.

The production company are looking for somebody who has thorough experience as an SP, SD or P/D on adventure or survival programmes for UK and/or US broadcasters. You must be a confident self-shooter and have experience managing a team, directing talent, working in remote and challenging locations and overseeing multiple edits.
