We at Islam Channel UK have a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to become an TV Producer's assistant/Production Assistant.

The ideal candidate would be a college leaver or a recent graduate looking for their first step into the Media/television industry. Experience is not essential but ideal, training will be given but it's vital that the ideal candidate is productive, flexible, enthusiastic, well-organized, pro-active, with an ability to multi-task, ready to receive daily tasks and manage their work. Also, you must have an interest in working for an television organisation wanting to work your way up within the production department.

This is a great opportunity for an entry level individual to make contacts with established, high-level professionals (such as clients, presenters, editors, producers, well-known personalities etc.) The role is an intern-ship - expenses paid for ONLY with a duration of 1-3 months.

You will be working closely with the Producer of 3 new TV shows, assisting with the development to production stages of the corporate shows. (The shows will cover the Education, Legal & Health sectors). This will be a fun, yet creative process to understand and be involved in the creation of formats for programming. Attending shoots and becoming an important part of the team for all stages of programme film-making. You must have the following qualities and be able to carry out the listed duties:

Key duties/Must Have:

  • Research and sourcing of information
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Power-point & Google Chrome
  • Good spoken and written English skills
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Great telephone manner
  • Able to work on your own
  • Fluent in English & first language
