Video and broadcast PR producer

A full-time creative job at Shout! Communications in London, United Kingdom
Posted 26 April 2015, 5.24pm edt

Shout! Communications is a specialist boutique broadcast PR and video production company, based in the heart of London's Covent Garden. We work alongside PR agencies, government departments, businesses and charities. Our clients are mostly high profile household name brands.

We are looking for a Producer to help create video content including, B-roll for television, online videos, training films, corporate videos and virals.

The role involves:

  • Liaising with clients
  • Interviewing spokespeople
  • Storyboarding
  • Scripting
  • Overseeing editing. You may also be required to voice and present material

You must have experience of producing video to a high standard and to tight deadlines when required. The role might suit someone who has worked in broadcast journalism and/or online video production. You don't need any technical expertise (although we would view this as a plus point) - we work alongside camera crews, VT editors and sound engineers. But you do need to be a highly motivated self-starter with a can-do attitude and a passion for broadcasting.

The company is run by former broadcast news journalists and people come to us for our high production values, and the speed in which we can turn work around. We would expect you to match these high standards.

You may, on occasions, also be asked to help out with media relations campaigns (selling in to radio, TV and online at national and regional level), writing press releases and to support the directors with new business. This part of the role is as important to us as the producing elements.

We will offer a competitive salary, dependent on experience. We also offer 20 days holiday (this increases the longer you stay with us), dental insurance, mobile phone allowance and potentially performance and company related bonuses.

The role involves some weekend and evening work depending on client requirements.

Salary c. £26,000-£33,000 depending on experience.

This job closed on 15 May, 2015 so we’re afraid you can no longer apply for this role.
