The BBC has issued a rebuttal to two Sun editorials on their website and on Twitter.

The line-by-line graphic shows recent Sun editorials, with a response from the BBC.

The graphic points out a fall in senior manager, clarifies a quote from BBC Director General Tony Hall, and points out the cost of the BBC at £2.80 a week per household.

Of note - the BBC graphic doesn't compare the £2.80 weekly cost of the BBC with the weekly cost of The Sun, at £3.10 for seven days of copies.

This type of post is unusual from the BBC, who normally issue a short statement. It's clearly an escalation of poor relations, and it'll be interesting to see what the next move is from The Sun.
