Tweakel, a radio training portal, goes live in Dublin today: promising "radio training delivered direct".

Daryl Moorhouse, the owner of Tinpot Productions, an Irish Radio post-production company, describes the website as offering hand built tutorials and clear, concise, modular HD training videos alongside interactive activities and resources. "No anecdotal meanderings, no faffing around, no wasting your precious hours on this glorious planet – and all the emphasis on all the stuff that’s important, all the time."

The website contains two courses so far: a Pro Tools training course, and a ten-week presentation course, created in collaboration with the Gaiety School of Acting. The presentation course also offers one trainee the chance of a four-week internship at national station Newstalk.

The Tweakel website went live this morning.
