Presenters from across the BBC broadcast live from Middlesbrough during We Are Middlesbrough week 20-24 May
BBC News is focusing on Middlesbrough in the coming weeks and will be telling stories about the Teesside town and the people who live there.

BBC Breakfast, the BBC News Channel and BBC Radio 5 live will all be reporting from the North East town as part of We Are Middlesbrough which runs from 20-24 May and includes a BBC hub pop-up newsroom in the town’s centre.
We Are Middlesbrough aims to shine a spotlight on Middlesbrough, telling the stories that matter to the people of the Teesside town. The stories will air across the BBC’s national and regional news outlets, online platforms and social media.

- Scott Makin will be presenting his BBC Tees show live from Middlesbrough on Monday 20 May and BBC Look North regional news programme will be broadcasting a film about Middlesbrough each night
Local people are being encouraged to come down to the Cleveland Centre to share their interesting stories, to meet the BBC teams and to be involved in the editorial process.
The North East digital team will be using its platforms to bring stories from Middlesbrough to a wider audience through news stories on the website, features and videos on the website and on social media.
A page is already running for people from the town to get in touch with the stories they want us to report and we are following those up before and during the week of We Are Middlesbrough Reporters from the digital team will also be based at the pop-up newsroom during the week.
There will also be photo opportunities and the chance to meet various BBC Tees and BBC Look North presenters in the shopping centre throughout the week.
