Britain’s leading independent football magazine, When Saturday Comes, has today launched the complete 30 year digital archive of the monthly magazine.
When Saturday Comes provides its readers with informed and intelligent comment on all aspects of British Football. Since it was first published in 1986 When Saturday Comes has offered intellectual and sometimes irreverent commentary on the changing face of modern football, from the Hillsborough disaster, to the founding of the Premier League and the rise of modern corporate football.
Subscribers to the magazine, whether in print or digital and institutional users will now gain instant access to 350 issues of the magazine. Coinciding with the release of the 350th issue and the 30th birthday of When Saturday Comes, the archive of back issues is now searchable across all digital platforms, for old subscribers and new.
Subscriptions to the magazine can be bought by individuals, as well as libraries, universities and businesses around the world as an institutional subscription, featuring IP authenticated web and app access.
You can download the When Saturday Comes app from the App store: there's a direct link to it in media.info's directory.
Andy Lyons, Editor and co-founder of When Saturday Comes said about the archive launch: “It is great to bring to life the archive of When Saturday Comes. I am sure our readers will love being able to search any issue as part of their subscription.”
Daryl Rayner, Managing Director of Exact Editions: “The archive of When Saturday Comes is a fascinating resource for subscribers. The high quality content and images in the magazine make it ideal for the Exact Editions platform and it reproduces excellently on the iPad.”
