The Southwark News is London's only independent owned newspaper for the London Borough of Southwark which is published weekly every Thursday.
Launched in 1987 as a local newspaper for Bermondsey and later north Southwark, it relaunched as a borough wide newspaper in the 1990s and then a hyperlocal edition for Dulwich and Herne Hill in the south of Southwark.
