Andy joined Seaside Hospital Radio (SHR) in March 2022. He is a Radio Presenter, SHRs' Publicity Officer, Member of the SHR Executive Committee & is a Trustee of Seaside Hospital Radio.
His show, 'Pop Back in Time’, ‘airs’ on Tuesdays from 3-4pm & he plays & celebrates some of the best & most popular music from the charts & movies from the 70s’ right through to the 2020s’. The show includes ‘Star’ birthdays, chart positions, weeks in charts, number of copies sold & all sorts of other interesting facts or trivia.
Whilst working full time in Sales & Marketing (he’s a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, CIM), from the early 80s’ to the early 90s’, he was also a mobile DJ catering for engagements, weddings, and milestone birthdays in East & West Sussex and at the same time, was also resident DJ at the ‘Crown & Anchor’ in Shoreham High Street (where did he find the time?).
Andys’ eclectic music tastes, include Whitney Houston, Jess Glynne, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Dua Lipa, Steps, Take That, The Beatles, Level 42, Sheena Easton, ABBA, George Michael, Billy Joel, Adele & the Bee Gees.
In March 2023, he was awarded the 'Seaside Star' award for 'services in promotion & publicity' of Seaside Hospital Radio (SHR).
Andy is a Presenter at Seaside Hospital Radio.
Andy has been a Publicity Officer at Seaside Hospital Radio since 27 October 2022.
