Kerry Taylor-Smith

My love of science and writing led me to the perfect career in scientific journalism...I admit it - I am a bit of a science geek!

For over six years (2009-2015) I worked for Laboratory News writing news, features and comment pieces for both print and online. I also conducted interviews with scientists, edited features and comment pieces from scientists and PRs, and worked closely with several institutions for various regular pieces.

I can write on all areas of science - from astronomy to chemistry to pathology and have experience writing for both experts and the general public.

I've recently written for NetDoctor, World Pharmaceutical Frontiers, Clinical Trials, Practical Patient Care, Medical Device Developments and Practical Patient Care Middle East.

On Twitter, she describes herself as: “#Journalist covering all areas of #science, #environment #weather #climatechange #medicine #health #cleantech #materials. Open to commissions. Views are my own”

Kerry was a Journalist at Laboratory News from 1 October 2009 to 1 December 2015.
