BBC Three

Youth television programmes from the BBC, online

BBC Three branding

Facts and stats

BBC Three (stylised as 'BBC II!') is a youth-orientated general entertainment television service from the BBC targeting 16-34 year olds.

BBC Three is a video on demand service, available on the BBC Three website. It isn't available as a linear television channel.

BBC Three's move online doesn't actually save any transmission costs, but the absence of a full schedule means the service can be cleverer as to how it spends its budget.

We list BBC Three as a television channel on media.info, pending a review on how we deal with digital publications.
