Facts and stats

UTV is the Channel 3 franchise holder for Northern Ireland owned and operated by ITV Plc.

From October 17 2016, UTV unveiled a new look including a new logo which brings the channel closer to their parent company ITV.

As part of ITV's modernisation of UTV, the channel moved to City Quays 2 in Belfast in July 2018, which enabled local programming to be in HD for the first time.
