Location: Cheshire Start Date: Monday 9th April 2018 Contract: 5 Months (Potential for Extension)

An award-winning television production company are looking for an Assistant Producer to work across a Channel 4 observational documentary series. You must have a base in or close to Cheshire and be able to make your own way to location on a daily basis.

The role will involve supporting Producer/Directors on location and identifying and developing stories on the ground. You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with contributors and writing detailed notes for post-production.

This is an opportunity for an Assistant Producer who has thorough documentary experience on prime-time productions for the main UK broadcasters. You must have great editorial sensibilities and proven experience maintaining relationships with contributors. The production company would also consider very experienced researchers with key observational documentary credits.
