A freelance and contract programming job at BBC (Studios - Factual) in Bristol, United Kingdom
Posted 19 January 2018, 10.48am est

See Hear is BBC Two’s topical magazine programme for Deaf and hard-of-hearing people in the UK. We have a rare opportunity for a talented film maker to join the team and help to shape our content over the next six months.

The programme covers a wide range of topics relating to Deaf people; challenging injustice, profiling high achieving deaf people and celebrating the culture of the Deaf community. The series is presented in British Sign Language with audio interpretation and subtitles to make it accessible to everyone. The programme is much loved by its viewers and recently won a Special Award from the Royal Television Society in the West of England, recognising 35 years of service to the Deaf community.

See Hear is part of the BBC Studios Unscripted Productions team in Bristol. The unit is responsible for some of TV’s best loved shows, including Countryfile, Gardeners’ World, Antiques Roadshow and DIY SOS.

This job closed on 28 January, 2018 so we’re afraid you can no longer apply for this role.
