A new Manchester-based television production company, ran by one of the industry’s leading senior creatives, is looking for an Assistant Producer or Senior Researcher to work across two existing development projects. One is a documentary idea, whilst the other a factual entertainment concept.

Reporting to the Managing Director and Development Producer, the Assistant Producer will be responsible for conducting thorough research, gaining access to institutions and sourcing expert contributors. They will also be required to write up detailed research documents, content ideas and contributor notes.

This is an opportunity for somebody who has previously worked in development, whilst also having access and ideally casting skills. They will be adaptable to both the documentary and factual entertainment genres, and able to hit the ground running and deliver result within a tight time-frame. Although you will ideally be at Assistant Producer level, the production company will also consider experienced Researchers ready for the step up.
