A leading television production company are looking for a Casting Producer to work across a new 3 x 60’ factual series for prime-time Channel 4. You will be leading the casting team, casting young people from all walks of life.

With a wide range of contributors to find you will be driving the outreach push, from street casting and social media to targeted approaches and liaising with organisations. You will then lead the team in conducting initial phone chats, filming and cutting recce tapes and writing contributor documents. You will then be the main point of contact for contributors right up until filming.

This is an opportunity for an established Casting Producer who has at least two CP credits on prime-time documentary or factual entertainment programmes for the main UK broadcasters. You must have experience managing a casting team and be able to immediately engage with young people and be comfortable dealing with those in sensitive situations. An awareness of compliance and contributor welfare is also a must.
