Football Exclusives are an innovative sports broadcaster & production company, working with five County Football Associations, who specialise in non league, women’s and grassroots football in the UK.
We are now looking for additional Commentators to join our match day team and be part of our exciting brand as it continues to grow across the UK and expand further North.
Key responsibilities
Conduct pre-match research on each fixture including form, team and player stats Write a pre-match script for match introductions Provide 90 minutes of live impartial commentary Broadcast live from football grounds Conduct post match interviews with both playing and non-playing staff Share ideas in which we can improve our service to both football clubs and fans Represent Football Exclusives in a professional manner at all times Previous experience or industry qualifications are not essential however would be preferred. Our Commentary positions are based in the Midlands and South East of England (London and on the South Coast).
Football Exclusives pride ourselves on our teams personal development, the successful candidate will be given on going training, support and mentoring throughout their time working with us.
This season has seen our work appear on BBC 1 during peak hours and two of our commentators secure opportunities with the UK’s largest sports TV station and the worlds biggest sports radio station respectively.
Applicants without previous commentary experience will be required to take part in a short intense training course.
Becoming a football commentator is a lot of people's dream and passion, but is not as simple as watching a live match and talking. It takes great skill plus a unique voice. If YOU have the passion to be the next Martin Tyler or John Motson with a desire to work for Sky Sports, BT Sport, TalkSPORT or BBC and commentate on LIVE football matches, this could be for you.
