Made Television is the UK’s leading City TV network and we have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our Birmingham team in the role of Station Manager. Made in Birmingham is enjoyed by over 1m viewers each month and the channel is now looking for a dynamic Station Manager to deliver and drive the programming and commercial strategy . This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced media professional to lead the team in Birmingham to deliver engaging programming formats and build valuable audiences in the Midlands. The perfect candidate will have a good understanding of broadcast formats, care passionately about understanding and engaging audiences, great commercial understanding and be a great leader of people. The Station Manager will oversee all channel operations including news and entertainment, production, programme development, quality control and brand guidelines and developing programme sponsorship. A strong relationship with the commercial team will be crucial in helping to drive great results and develop the Made Television growing portfolio of long term client relationships.

Experience and skills required

Experience in a similar role with a Broadcaster or a Production company, preferably in a commercial environment Experience of managing teams Effective time-management and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads Excellent communication skills both internally and externally
