Script Secretary (River City)

A full-time programming job at BBC (Studios - Scripted) in Dumbarton , United Kingdom
Posted 19 January 2018, 10.48am est

With over 350 hours of in-house output a year, BBC Scripted Production makes some of the most original, diverse and highly acclaimed television. These range from continuing drama such as EastEnders, Holby City, Casualty, Pobol y Cwm, River City and Doctors and Daytime Series & Serials such as Father Brown and Shakespeare & Hathaway.

River City is a high-profile continuing drama series. Television Drama production can involve long and unpredictable work patterns and pressure to meet tight deadlines. The post is office-based, and in general, normal office hours will apply.  The exceptions to this are Thursday and Friday evenings when large volumes of scripts must be published to the wider production. However, there are other occasions when the postholder will be required to work beyond normal office hours. A flexible approach to working hours will therefore be required.  The postholder must be able to work effectively in a very busy, fast-paced production environment.

This job closed on 26 January, 2018 so we’re afraid you can no longer apply for this role.
