The right candidate will have the necessary skills to shoot and make outstanding and compelling programmes that reflects the diversity and interests of the Made in Tyne and Wear audience. You will have unrivalled opportunity to pitch programme ideas before taking them forward into production. Salary: On Application

Key Responsibilities: As a cameraman/editor, you will work as part of the Entertainment team to: -Work collectively with the Entertainment team to create content for our daily magazine show. You will be expected to pitch show ideas and research, film and edit to final approval. -Alongside other producers and think creatively about telling stories to local viewers – developing original ideas for programmes of every kind. -Be able to develop ideas, produce and self-shoot on smaller projects. -You will also be able to edit content quickly and efficiently, adding flair and high production values. -Work on a rolling rota, which will include weekends, to facilitate the content needs of Entertainment programming.

Required Skills: It’s unlikely that we’d consider your application if you’re unable to fulfil the required skills below:

-A high level of skill in single and Multi-camera production. -Shoot and edit remarkable content. -Ability to self-shoot on various camera formats. -Ability to edit using Premiere Pro. Knowledge of other Adobe Creative Cloud programs is an advantage. -Ability to manage your time effectively, Entertainment is a fast-pace environment. -Good camera and editing skills, with the ability to work well under pressure of tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills: -Experience in TV broadcast. -Clean UK Driving License.
