Sophy Ridge
Sophy Ridge is a broadcaster and newspaper columnist.
She was a journalist for the News of the World, joining Sky News as a political reporter where she reported on her old newspaper's demise thanks to her contacts inside the building.
In 2016, Sophy started covering presentation shifts at Sky News, where she covered the death of pop singer Prince as it happened.
On January 8 2017, she became the presenter of the Sky News Sunday morning political strand, named 'Sophy Ridge on Sunday' where she interviewed the British Prime Minister Theresa May. In June 2017, she co-presented UK General Election coverage with Adam Boulton.
Sophy also writes a weekly column in the Metro newspaper every Friday.
