Capital Scotland’s Des and Jennie have teamed up with some of the best comedy talent to host a special live broadcast during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this week - and they’re giving listeners the chance to be there.
Scottish favourite Daniel Sloss will join Iain Stirling, the man behind the voice of ITV’s Love Island; ‘The Chase’ favourite Paul Sinha and I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now presenter and comedian Rob Beckett. They will take to the stage with Des and Jennie to entertain the live audience and listeners during the one-off special at Tony Macaroni’s Omni Centre restaurant on Friday 7th August, as part of the world famous Fringe.
Listeners can win tickets to the live broadcast and will be treated to a meal and drinks at Tony Macaroni’s new prosecco bar.
Des Clarke, Capital Scotland presenter, said: “I’m so excited to be broadcasting live from The Fringe. We’ve got some of the best comedy talent in Edinburgh, a live audience, top venue and brilliant food. I can’t wait! If you fancy joining us, make sure you listen to Capital Breakfast!”
On air from 4pm, the special drivetime show will be hosted by regular Capital Breakfast presenters, Des and Jennie, and the audience will be invited to join the guys from 5.30-7pm for an evening of laughter and Italian treats.
