Radio hosts Hamish and Andy return to Southern Cross Austereo stations throughout Australia from July 13th. At least, that's the official plan. TV advertising, which breaks on Sunday, lets the audience in to a little secret, however.

Hamish and Andy - seen above with Absolute Radio breakfast host Christian O'Connell - are some of Australia's best-known stars; and broadcast (for a while) on Absolute Radio here in the UK as well.

Southern Cross Austereo are pinning a lot of hopes on their return: their audience has slumped since the defection of Sydney's Kyle and Jackie O to a rival station, and they were also harmed by a prank telephone call to the Duchess of Cambridge's nursing staff in 2012 that was connected to a suicide.

Hamish and Andy also broadcast a successful programme on the Nine network in Australia.
