ASSISTANT PRODUCER

Here at Virgin Radio, we are looking to expand our team and are currently recruiting for dynamic Assistant Producers who have great communication skills and are looking to bring their talent and personality to a national level.

With both full time and part opportunities available, we want to hear from you if you have an excellent grasp of social media, a passion for music and good audio and visual editing skills! You’ll approach each task with a positive attitude and a smile on your face – no job is too big or too small.

Job description

  • Creating and communicating content ideas, stories and features to producer
  • Audio editing clips and interviews
  • Forward planning
  • Social Media integration
  • Writing articles for virginradio.co.uk and promoting through socials accordingly
  • Reacting to breaking music news where necessary
  • Supporting presenters on air and online where necessary
  • Editing and publishing videos (interviews/ links etc)
  • Supporting the Daytime Producer/ Content Controller with programming when needed
