Breakfast Content Producer

Absolute Radio is looking for a Breakfast Content Producer. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Dave Berry Breakfast Show and carve out a new role where the priority is idea generation and the digital amplification of the features and story arcs via social media. With more than 2m listeners, this is a show which is reaching record audiences. We’re looking for someone who understands social content, digital audiences, and how to develop and create stand-out visual imagery, further enhancing the show’s multi-platform strategy.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: Create social media assets for the programme’s daily features and scheduling posts Edit video content of programmes and manage the amplification of content. Assist the Visualised Content Manager with filming and editing when required Develop and produce long-form broadcast/non-broadcast social campaigns/story arcs Provide customer service on social media accounts during the programme/answer & manage callers Audio editing, archiving and awards production Studio support Administrative support for the Breakfast SHow

Skills and Competencies: A confident communicator with the ability to turn ideas into practical solutions. A passion for online and broadcast media as well as excellent written English Excellent time-management skills and able to maintain attention to detail whilst working to deadlines Experience using creative software packages (Such as Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut etc) Extensive understanding of social media and how to amplify content Technical dexterity Willingness to learn Project Management An understanding of the OFCOM Broadcast Code Ability to work un-sociable hours
