Broadcast/Digital Journalist at Wessex FM in Dorchester.

Wessex FM is looking for a highly motivated, talented and flexible Broadcast/Digital journalist to join our dedicated news team in Dorchester, Dorset.

So whether it’s on air, on our website on our App and on social media, your job will be to cover the stories that matter most to our listeners.

The role will involve:

• Compiling and reading news bulletins for Wessex FM, Alexa flash briefings and Wessex 70’s.
• Writing news stories, interviewing and editing audio.
• Creating news content for our website and social media platforms.
• Providing holiday and sickness cover for breakfast and drive time shifts.

You will also need to have a journalism qualification, good working knowledge of media law and broadcast regulations and a full clean driving licence is preferred.
