Broadcast Journalist

A full-time journalism job at BOB fm Home Counties in Knebworth, United Kingdom
Posted 3 August 2015, 4.29am edt

BOB fm's award-winning News Team is looking for an exceptional Broadcast Journalist...

Predominantly this is a news-based role, which will include reporting on breaking stories, script-writing, creating amazing audio for our listeners and reading top-notch news bulletins.

But, you will also be reading the daily travel news on BOB's Breakfast. You will help with BOB Squad events in our area, as well as updating our station website and social media pages.

You must be dynamic, out-going and confident in front of people (either interviewing them face-to-face for news bulletins or introducing acts on a stage).

You will have a great voice, organisational skills, enthusiasm, eye for detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure.

This role would suit someone who has just left University or College and has a Broadcast Journalism qualification.

It goes without saying that a good knowledge of media law is essential to the job.

Precious with a big ego? Don't bother applying. Enthusiastic and willing to lend a hand to all sorts of things within the station? We'd love to hear from you!

This job closed on 17 August, 2015 so we’re afraid you can no longer apply for this role.
