Freelance Journalist

A freelance and contract journalism job at KLFM in Kings Lynn
Posted 20 October 2017, 9.11am edt

West Norfolk’s favourite radio station is looking for freelance journalists to help continue our excellent news coverage in our patch.

We’re not your typical station – we love local here and our kitchen produces some of the best brews in the county.

The team is dedicated to bringing our audience the news that matters to them – whether that’s a bank robbery in Hunstanton, a multiple car crash near Wisbech or Prince Edward’s visit to a local school.

You’d be working in the heart of King’s Lynn – the sixth happiest place to live in the country and you’ll be part of the team trying to keep those smiles on residents’ faces!

We’re looking for journalists with a strong new reading voice, who can write great online content as well as someone who can hold their own in an interview to make sure we get the answers to the questions that have to be asked.

We don’t hub our news here – we just do local.

So if you’re driven to tell stories that our audience are passionate about then we want to hear from you.

Experience using Burli and knowledge of media law is preferable.

This job closed on 17 November, 2017 so we’re afraid you can no longer apply for this role.
