Junior Content Editor - Online

Eagle Radio, the number one commercial radio station in Surrey and Hampshire, is looking for an Online Junior Content Editor to join our expanding digital team and help populate the websites across our brands.

You would be joining an organisation where our main website is already attracting more than 400,000 visits each month and our last social media campaign reached almost 1 million people.

Working with our in-house content management system, you will be responsible for uploading content to sites for Eagle Radio, eagle3, Eagle Extra and the Eagle Radio Trust.

You will have a good understanding of how content is consumed online on multiple devices, an understanding of web layout, including HTML and CSS, and extremely good attention to detail.

You will be required to write, design and proofread content on our sites, as well as creating and scheduling some of our social media content.

The role requires you to use Google Analytics to evaluate page performance and help develop strategies to increase traffic to our sites.

Your shift pattern will involve unsociable hours and you will be contracted to work weekends.
