Multimedia Journalist (Reporter)

A full-time journalism job at Eagle Radio in Guildford
Posted 24 November 2017, 10.35am est

This is an exciting opportunity for a multi-media journalist to join a local radio newsroom in a busy patch and competitive marketplace.

Our news team thrives on being the first to the scene of a breaking story, providing our existing audience with a reliable source of information, across all platforms.

We are always experimenting with new ways to reach our consumers so you'll be a self-starter, who can help increase our broadcast, digital and video news offering, generating ideas outside the conventions of the everyday news headlines.

You'll be out and about most days in this role so will need a full, clean driving license - but ideally, will be able to step in to read the news on air when required.

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent multimedia or broadcast journalism graduate, or somebody with some experience in a radio newsroom looking for that break.

Experience using Burli is essential. Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar video editing software) and a good broadcasting voice are desirable.

We will offer training, development and a chance for progression.

This job closed on 8 December, 2017 so we’re afraid you can no longer apply for this role.
