A full-time journalism job at Anglian Radio in Norwich
Posted 6 December 2016, 5.40am est

Anglian Radio is looking for an experienced and motivated journalist to lead its team of aspiring reporters in East Anglia.

Based in Norwich, the successful candidate will help to build on the company’s reputation of being at the very forefront of breaking local news while introducing fresh and original ideas on air, online and on social media.

As an organised team leader, you’ll ensure each bulletin is target listener focused by ensuring fair geographical coverage and balanced reporting.

You will also have a proven track record of delivering unique stories, inspiring others to succeed and communicating effectively with advertisers, listeners and key contacts.

In return you’ll get to work in the vibrant and historic city of Norwich whilst receiving a competitive salary.

A sound legal knowledge and full UK driving licence are a must and past experience of using Burli would be helpful, but not essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and passionate journalist who’s looking to take the next big step in their career.

Anglian Radio consists of five local radio stations across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex – Radio Norwich 99.9, North Norfolk Radio, The Beach, Town 102 and Dream 100.

The Group reaches 219,000 weekly listeners and delivers almost 2 million weekly listening hours.

This job closed on 13 December, 2016 so we’re afraid you can no longer apply for this role.
