A part-time programming job at MKFM in Milton Keynes
Posted 9 February 2016, 10.57am est

This job is not paid

MKFM is a high profile community radio station broadcasting from a brand new studio complex in the centre of Milton Keynes.

We're now looking for new volunteers to join the radio station across all departments including presenters...

If you have a genuine love for radio, you can work within a format and are willing to work hard to make your show sound as good as a national brand, then we'd love to hear from you.

We have opportunities for presenters at all levels of ability as training is given, but for the key daytime shows, previous radio experience would be an advantage and a demo is required with your application.

About MKFM

MKFM broadcasts on 106.3FM to Milton Keynes as a community radio station and across Herts, Beds and Bucks on DAB Digital Radio to a population of 1.5 million people as well as being available online with a full 7 day listen again feature.

You'll be presenting shows from our beautiful studios in the window of our new premises in the intu shopping centre, nextdoor to Hollister and Superdry.

We target under-35s with a hit music format combined with quality local content which is relevant to our listeners - whether it's chatting to a celeb who's appearing at the theatre, an outside broadcast from a local event or chatting to one of the local sports teams.

MKFM was formed by the previous management team of Horizon Radio and our presenters are given professional quality training. Previous MKFM presenters have moved directly to paid roles at BBC Radio 4 and as network presenters at Capital FM so this is a great opportunity.

This job closed on 28 February, 2016 so we’re afraid you can no longer apply for this role.
